HomeMy WebLinkAbout12557N �-I b 0 A b a) zo c a� GN ORDINANCE- NO. 12,557 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE LANES; PROHIBITING THE STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING OF VEHICLES THEREIN; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS HEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The Traffic Engineer, upon the written recommendation of the Chief of the Fire Department, is hereby authorized to designate fire lanes in any public street or facility and /or upon any private property by the proper placement of signs thereon. When such signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle within any so designated fire lane. SECTION 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in a sum not less than$2_5.00 nor more than $100.00 dollars. SECTION 3. The sections of this ordinance shall be codified in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock as Sections 39 -77.1 and 39 -77.2, respectively. SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
