AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following properties be and
is hereby changed as indicated:
Subsection (a) - Z -2497 - Described as Lots 5 and 6, Block 12, Mountain Park
Addition, from "A" One - family District to "F" Commercial District, except the
south 25 feet thereof.
Subsection (b) - Z -2499 - Described as Block 8, Pleasant Hill Addition, from
"A" One - family District to "E -1" Quiet Business District and all of Block 7, and
L6ts A. and B of Block 10, Pleasant Hill Addition, from "A" One- family District
to "MF 6" Multi- family District.
Subsection (c) - Z -2495 - Described as part of the N_1 /2 N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4
Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of the
N 1/2 N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 13 West, said point
being north 89° 37' west of and 598.7 feet distant from the northeast corner of
the said N 1/2 N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4; thence south 00° 05' east for 335.0 feet to a
point on the south line of the said N 1/2 N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4; thence west along
the south line of the said N 1/2 N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 for 365.0 feet to a point
on the east right-of-way line of Bryant Street; thence north 00° 05' west along
the said right -of -way line for 337.4 feet to the north line of the said N 1/2
N 1/2 SE 1/4 NW 1/4; thence south 89° 37' east for 365.0 feet to the point of be-
ginning less and except the west 175.0 feet thereof, containing 1.47 acres more
or less, from "A" One - family District to "MF 24" Multi - family District.
Subsection (d) - Z -2504 - Described as the north 118 feet of the east 170
feet of the E 1/2 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 35, Township 2 North, Range 13
West, except the east 30 feet thereof, from "A" One - family District to "E -1"
Quiet Business District.
Subsection (e) - Z -2505 - Described as parts of Blocks 1, and 2, Commonwealth
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas more particularly
described as: Beginning at a point on the south line of 65th Street, said point
being the northwest corner of Block 2, Commonwealth Addition; thence south 89° 47'
east along said south line of 65th Street, 145.0 feet; thence south 00 09' west,
290.0 feet to the north line of Block 2, Commonwealth Addition" thence south 890
47' east along said north line, 34.5 feet; thence south 0° 09' west, 184.0 feet;
thence north 89° 471 west, 179,5 feet to the east line of a 30L foot ,fight- o,f-�-way
street; thence north 0° 091 east along said east line, 474.0. feet to the point
of beginning, containing 1.74 acres more or less, from "AF' One family District to
"I" Light Industrial District.
Subsection (f) - Z -2470 - Described as all of Tract 11, Hopson & Sachls
Suburban Tracts, from "A" One- family District to "E-1" Quiet Business District.
Subsection (S) -- Z -2492 - Described as a tract of land located in the SE 1/4
NW 1/4 Section 19, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski. County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as: Starting at the northeast corner of the N 1/2
NW 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 19; thence south 89° 571 east along the south line of
the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 19, 161.8 feet to the point of beginning; thence
north 481.0 feet; thence south 60° 11' east 200.0 feet; thence south 82° 19' east
232.9 feet; thence south 41° 06' east 83.9 feet; thence south 41° 03' east, 176.45
feet; thence south 76° 25' 30" east 33.9 feet to a point on the west right -of -way
line of Mabelvale Pike; thence south 260 19' 30" west, along said west right -of-
way line 163.15 feet; thence north 89° 57' west 536.07 feet to the point of be-
ginning; Except a right -of -way for a county road as shown containing 4.641 acres
more or less, including right -of -way, from "A" One - family District to "MF 24"
Multi - family District.
Subsection (h) - Z -2469 - Described as the south 200 feet of a tract described
as part of the E 1/2 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 2, Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as follows: Beginning 860.8 feet south of the
northwest corner of said E 1/2 NW 1/4 NE 1/4, thence north 89° 09' east 105.8 feet;
thence south 398 feet to the north line of West Markham Street, thence west on West
Markham Street 102.96 feet to the west line of said E 1/2 NW 1/4 NE 1/4; thence
north 396 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.95 acres, more or less, from
"A" One - family District to "E -1" Quiet Business District.
Subsection (i) - Z -2337 - Described as Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Block 1, Bellevue
Addition, and south half of former "S" Street right-of-way, from "C" Two - family
District to "F" Commercial District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Little Rock and designated "District Map" be and it is hereby
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its passage and approval.
