AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,989.00
FROM PARK CONSTRUCTION FUNDS-FOR PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF ELECTRIC WIRING AT
BALLFIELD.AT WAKEFIELD PARK;AWARDING A
CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS., - invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant-thereto according to law for electric wiring
and lighting of the ballfield at Wakefiled Park; and
WHEREAS, the ... lowest_ responsible. -and responsive bid has
been.determined and it -is the desire of the.Board.of Directors
to authorize a- contract to have the work done by the lowest
responsible and responsive bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE -CITY OF_LITTLE._ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the Parks
Construction Funds.. the- sum.. -of $14,989.00 for. purchase and
installation of electric wiring at ballfield at Wakefield Park;
SECTION 2. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
the electric_wiring_ and lighting of the ballfield at Wakefield
Park is-hereby accepted -and _a contract.awarded . to McKellips
Electric Construction Company, 6702 Cantrell Road, Little Rock,
Arkansas,_in the amount of $14,989.00.

SECTION 3.. Upon completion of the installation.of electric
wiring and lighting complying in all respects with bidding
specifications.and -bid proposal, the City Manager and Director
of Finance--are.-hereby authorized-and-directed to execute the
necessar ..warrant or.warrants in-payment of said contract price.
SECTION -4— This Ordinance shall be -in -full force and effect
from and after- its passage.
