AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CODE OF ORDINANCES,
SECTION 36 -14 (B) (2) (a) (1) ; and for other purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. Concrete curb and concrete combination curb and gutter
expansion joints shall be installed at stationary structures such as catch
basins, drop inlets, etc., at ends of curb returns, and at intervals approved
by the City. Where curb and gutter is constructed adjacent to or on rigid
pavements, the location and width of joints shall coincide with those in
the pavement, where practicable. Variations shall be approved by the City.
Curb and gutter expansion joints shall have a thickness of not less than 1/2
inch, and shall be filled with an approved preformed point filler shaped to
the cross section of the curb, and constructed at right angles to the curb
line.
SECTION II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the amendment as contained herein, are hereby declared null and void.
SECTION III. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.
