AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF-
$40,000.00 TO FUND SECOND PHASE TOPIC
PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $40,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unexpended balance of the Street Fund to pay the
City's 50% share of the Second Phase TOPIC Project. Said
Project was instituted by Ordinance No. 12,438 passed by the
Board of Directors February 1, 1971 and designed to increase
capacity and safety on public streets. Said Project is spon-
sored by the United States Department of Transportation.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to request
the Arkansas Highway Department to waive their requirement for
a cash bond for this Project.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
