ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
ACCEPTING AND ANNEXING A PART OF THE
EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF
SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13
WEST, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed in the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on the 2nd day of January,
1973, seeking the approval of the County Court for the annex-
ation to the City of Little Rock of a part of the East Half
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
County Court has, at the time and place noted in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the allegations contained in the petition
are sustained by the proof; that those signing the petition
constitute a majority of the real property owners and own
over one -half of the property to be annexed; that the limits
of the property to be annexed have been accurately described;
that an accurate map of said property has been made and filed
and that the prayer of petitioners is right and proper, pur-
suant to which findings the County Court entered its order
dated February 5, 1973, annexing said real property to the
City of Little Rock, subject to its acceptance by the City
of Little Rock;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
accepts and annexes to the City of Little Rock, the following
described real property, to -wit:
Part of the E 1/2 SE 1/4 Section 34, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as: Beginning at the

intersection of the East line of the E 1/2 SE 1/4
said Sec. 34, T -2N, R -13 W, and the North right -
of -way line of Rodney Parham Road (said line being
30 ft. North of and parallel with the centerline
of the pavement of Rodney Parham Road); thence N 750
28' 50" W, along said North right -of -way line, 416.72
feet; thence continue Northwesterly along said North
right -of -way line, being the arc of a curve to the
right, having the following chord bearings and dis-
tances: (N660 56' 30" W, 97.31 feet; N 530 02' 50 "W,
97.99 feet; N 430 39' 50" West, 98.65 ft.; N 370 34'
50" W, 99.28 ft.; N 350 18' 30" W 99.61 ft.) ; thence
N 340 11' 10 "W and continuing along said North right -
of -way line, 437.7 ft.; thence continue Northwesterly
along said North right -of -way line, being the arc of
a curve to the left, having the following chord
bearings and distances: (N420 19' 10" W, 102.93 ft.,
N 599 44' 05" W, 103,51 ft.); thence N 710 16' 20" W
and continuing along said North right -of -way line,
144.95 ft.; thence N 00 19' W, 29.5 ft. East of and
parallel with the West line of the E 1/2 SE 1/4
said Section 34, 711.3 ft. to the Southwest corner
of Lot 58, Section 'B', Northgate Subdivision to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence N 890 55' E
along the South line of said Northgate Subdivision,
and said line extended Easterly, 1304.45 ft. to a
point on the East line of said E 1/2 SE 1/4; thence
S 00 02' 40" W along said East line, 1683.2 ft. to the
point of beginning, containing 1,666,307 sq. ft. or
38.2532 acres more or less.
AND
All public rights -of -way adjacent to the above des-
cribed lands.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the deed records of the
County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
