ORDINANCE NO. 12,772
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY
THE CITY; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for the purchase of
certain equipment for use by the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize contracts for the purchase of said equipment from
the lowest responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
equipment for use by the City of Little Rock are hereby accepted
and contracts awarded as follows:

SECTION 2. The sum of $139,124.05 is hereby appropriated
from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be used for the purchase
of the five (5) "Shu -Pak" body garbage trucks heretofore identi-
fied.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the foregoing items complying
in all respects with bidding specifications, the City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said
purchase price.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
