ORDINANCE NO. 12,777
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF APPROXIMATELY
TWO (2) ACRES OF LAND ADJACENT TO THE CITY SANITATION
GARAGE; APPROPRIATING $50,000.00 FROM FEDERAL REVENUE
SHARING FUNDS TO BE USED DOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE
LAND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby accepts the offer
of the owner of the following described real property situated in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to sell said property for the sum of
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00):
Part of the West 2, SW4, Section 9, T -1 -N,
R -12 -W, Little Rock, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point 25 feet West of the intersection
of the East line of the West 2, SW4, Section 9,
T -1 -N, R -12 -W and the North Boundary line of platted
West 21st Street (Nowwest 20th street), said point
being 645.0 feet south and 25.0 feet west of the
Northeast corner of the said West 2, SW4; thence
West for 275.0 feet Deed (measures 274.1 feet) to
a point on the easterly right -of -way line of the
CRI & P Railroad; thence in a southeasterly dir-
ection along the said right -of -way line for 339.7
feet; thence in an easterly direction for 233.2 feet
to aapoint on the east line of the west 2, Ste, said
point being 983.5 feet south of the northeast corner
of the west 2, SW4;.thence north along the east line
of the said West 2, SW4 for 173.5 feet; thence West
25.0 feet; thence north 165.0 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 2.11 acres more or less, said
parcel being subject to a 15 foot wide dedication
filed in Book 161 at page 148, Pulaski County Court-
house.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to proceed
with the processing and execution of such documents as may be
required to consumate the purchase authorized in Section 1 hereof
and to pay out the consideration hereinafter appropriated in the
amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) as full purchase
price to the person or persons entitled thereto according to the
City Attorney's title opinion vesting fee simple title in the City
of Little Rock.

SECTION 3. 'There is hereby appropriated from Federal Revenue
Sharing funds the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to be
used for the purchase price herein provided for.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
