AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL
AND THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT FOR A SURVEY CREW
IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION OF THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT; APPROPRIATING FUNDS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following additional personnel are authorized
for the Public Works Division of the Community Development Depart-
ment to provide land survey and related services with the pay
classification and monthly salaries for such personnel set oppo-
site:
a) One (1) Civil Engineer Assistant monthly salary $786.00
(F -8 -4)
b) Three (3) engineering aides II monthly salary 566.00 each
(F -5 -2)
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the Street Fund the sum of $23,953.50 to be used for
the payment of salaries and fringe benefits of the personnel
authorized in the amount of $15,953.50 and the sum of $8,000.00
for the purchase of the necessary equipment and supplies and for
operation and maintenance of said equipment needed to provide the
survey services for the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. The job title and job classifications for the
personnel authorized in Section 1 hereof shall be such as from
time to time may be promulgated by the City Manager.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
