AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
MAKE APPLICATION TO THE ARKANSAS COMMISSION
ON CRIME AND LAW ENFORCEMENT FOR FEDERAL FUNDS
PROVIDED THROUGH THE LEAA TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL
COMPUTER TERMINALS TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM;
APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $3,170.00 AS THE CITY'S
SHARE OF CASH MATCHING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
prepare and make application on behalf of the City of Little
Rock with the Arkansas Commission on Crime and Law Enforcement
through LEAA to purchase additional computer terminals to be
used in conjunction with the Little Rock Police Department
Information System. The total cost for this project is
$63,400.00 of which grant application funds are to be $57,060.00,
state funds in the amount of $3,170.00 and City funds in the
amount of $3,170.00.
SECTION 2. The sum of $3,170.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund as the
City's cash share of this total project.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
