AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF A HARDENED TRANSMITTER STATION;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation for bids has been duly published and
bids received in accordance therewith for the construction of
a hardened transmitter station for the City of Little Rock to
be located at Ozark Point; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid based
on said invitation has been received and it is the desire of
the Board of Directors to award a contract accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to P & G Construc-
tion Company of Little Rock, Arkansas for the construction of
a hardened transmitter station on a site at Ozark Point for a
contract price of $37,027.00.
SECTION 2. The sum of $9,977.38 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to defray
part of the expenses of construction of said transmitter station,
other funds being provided by federal LEAA grant funds.
SECTION 3. Upon completion of the above described trans-
mitter station, complying in all respects with bidding specifi-
cations on file in the office of the Purchasing Agent, or from
time to time as may be needed, the City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of said contract price.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
