AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING "M" STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 633 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority in
assessed value of the real property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an improve-
ment district be established for the purposes hereinafter set out=
and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Board
of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring
to be heard and has ascertained that said petition was signed by a
majority in assessed value of the owners of real property within
said territory, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following property in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 14 through 26, in Block 16, and Lots 1 through 13,
in Block 17, all in Riffel & Rhoton's Forest Park High-
lands Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
for the purpose of constructing curbs, gutters, grading, and paving
"M" Street between Georgia and Mississippi Streets, and that
the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property above described.
Said District shall be known as "M" Street Improvement District
No. 633 of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Don Phelan ,
Millie McManus , and John Wright ,
are hereby named Commissioners, who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
