AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARTS OF SECTION 13 -28
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS PERTAINING TO FIRE DISTRICTS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (a) of Section 13-28(l) of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas pertaining
to the establishment of the various segments of District 1
is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) Begin at McLean Street and the Arkansas River and
extend south to a point half -way between Sixth and
Seventh Streets, thence west to the west right -of -way
line of Interstate Highway No. 30, thence North along
said west right -of -way line of Interstate No. 30
to a point half -way between Second and Third Streets,
thence west to the west right -of -way line of Rock Street,
thence sough along Rock Street to the north right -of -way
line of Capitol Avenue, thence west along Capitol
Avenue to the west right -of -way line of Cumberland
Street, thence south along Cumberland Street to the
north right -of -way line of Eighth Street, thence west
along Eighth Street to the west right -of -way line of
Scott Street, thence south along Scott Street to the
south right -of -way line of Interstate No. 630, thence
northwesterly along said line to High Street, north
to Third Street and west along said street to the
Missouri Pacific right -of -way line; thence northeasterly
along said right -of -way line to the Arkansas River;
thence easterly along the Arkansas River to McLean
Street, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
