AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING
SECTION 43 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following properties
be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Subsection (a) - Z -2789 - described as all of the NE'k, NE'k,
Section 32, T -1 -N, R -12 -W, lying south and east of Interstate Highway #30,
containing 14.44 acres. From: "A" One - family District To: "I" Light
Industrial District.
Subsection (b) - Z -2783 - described as part of the NE'k of the
NW'k, Section 23, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows: commence at the northwest corner of the NE'k, NW'k said
Section 23; thence east a distance of 657.1 ft. to an iron pipe; thence south
a distance of 750.0 ft. to an iron pin, said point being the point of begin-
ning, from the point of beginning thus established run south 274.05 ft. to a
point on the north right -of -way line of Arkansas State Highway #5; thence
N84° 13'E along said right -of -way line a distance of 101.47 ft. to a point;
thence N00° 52' E a distance of (266.72 ft. Deed) 265.8 ft. measured to a
point; thence S88° 56'W a distance of 105.0 ft. to the point of beginning,
containing 0.64 acres, more or less. From: "B" Residence District To: "F"
Commercial District.
Subsection (c) - Z -2784 - described as part of the SW'k SWk NW'k,
Section 14, T -1 -N, R -12 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows: beginning at the northwest corner of Blunts 5 acre
tract (Deed Book 7, page 3); thence N00° 02'W along the west line of Section
14, 93 ft. to a point; thence N88° 49' E 462.7 ft. to a point on the west
right -of -way line of Interstate #30; thence S08'011W along the west right -of-
way line of Interstate #30, 94.19' to a point on the north line of Blunt's 5
acre tract; thence S880 49'W along the north line of Blunt's 5 acre tract
449.5' to the point of beginning, containing 0.97 acres. From: "B"
Residence District To: "I" Light Industrial District.
Subsection (d) - Z- 2729 -B - described as starting at the south-
west corner of the NW'k NW'k NW'k of Section 12, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence S89° 33'
19"E along the south line thereof, 199.42 ft. to the point of beginning of

the tract of land herein described; thence NO° 40'41 "E, 68.26 ft.; thence
N250 31' 09" W, 34.8 ft. to a point on the south right -of -way line of
West 12th Street; thence N49° 46' 21" E along said south right -of -way
line 30.19 ft.; thence S55° 43' 33" E, 214.16 ft. to a point on the
south line of the NWk NWk NWk said Section 12; thence N89° 33' 19" W along
said south line 185.85 ft. to the point of beginning. From: "A" One -
family District To: "MF 24" Multi- family District.
Subsection (e) - Z -2790 - described as part of NWk NWk
of Section 11, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as
follows: to wit: starting at the southwest corner of the NWk NWk; thence
north 319 ft. to point of beginning; thence east a distance of 392 ft.;
thence N 427.6 ft. to a point in the centerline of Kanis Road (formerly
12th Street Pike) as now established; thence following the centerline of
Kanis Road in a northwesterly direction a distance of 413.4 ft. more or
less to the west line of the NWk NWk 544.3 ft. more or less north of
beginning; thence south along said west line to a point of beginning,
subject to rights of public in and to the northerly 30 ft. of said tract
which is now being used by the public as a part of Kanis Road. From: "A"
One - family District To: "F" Commercial District.
Subsection (f) - Z- 2729 -A - described as a tract of land
located in the NWk of the NWk and the SW'k of the NWk of Section 12, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
beginning at a point on the west line of Section 12 and 115.02 ft. south
of the southwest corner NWk NWk of said Section 12 for the point of begin-
ning; thence south 89° 53' 20" E 714.92 ft.; thence north 010 56' 54" E
165.08 ft.; thence N 89' 53' 18" W 717.57 ft. to the west line of Section
12; thence south 01° 01' 46" west along the west line of Section 12, 165.02
ft. to the point of beginning, containing 2.714 acres in Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas. From: "A" One - family and "MF 24" Multi- family
District To: "MF 24" Multi - family District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and designated "District
Map" be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.
