ORDINANCE NO. 12,834
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 -2
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following properties
be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Subsection (a) - Z -2732 - 3400 "I" Street, described as E'k of
Lots 5 and 6, Block 6, East Pulaski Heights Addition to Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas. From: "B" Residence District To: "D" Apartment
District.
Subsection (b) - Z -2733 - 2600 and 2602 Welch Street, described
as Lots 23 and 24, Barber Avenue Addition to Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas. From: "B" Residence District To: "F" Commercial District.
Subsection (c) - Z -2739 - 6117 West 65th Street, described as
part of the NEk SEk, Section 25, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, described as beginning at a point 30 ft. west and 706.5 ft. north
of the southeast corner of said NE'k SEk; thence N 89' 49' W 368.6 ft. to the
southeast corner of Lot 1, Geneva Addition; thence N 0' 27' E along the
east line of said Lot 1, 514.4 ft. to the northeast corner of said Lot 1,
thence east 11 ft. along the south right -of -way line of 65th Street; thence
S 83' 43' 22" E 201.21 ft. along said 65th Street right -of -way; thence east
105.18 ft. along said 65th Street right -of -way line; thence along a curve
to the right 42.17 ft. having tangent of 25.8 ft. and a radius of 29 ft.
along said 65th Street right -of -way line; thence S 6' 40' 38" E 156 ft.
along the westerly right -of -way line of Geyer Springs Road; thence S 309.9
feet along said westerly right -of -way to the point of beginning, containing
4.13 acres, more or less. From: "A" One- family District To: "I" Light
Industrial District.
Subsection (d) - Z -2740 - 5700 West 65th Street, described as
part of Tract 28 of Leigh - Butler Acres, a Subdivision of parts of Section 30,
T -1 -N, R -12 -W in Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows, to wit: beginning at the southwest corner of said Tract 28,
thence east along the south line of said Tract 28, a distance of 130 ft.;
thence N 619 ft. to the north line of said tract; thence west along said
north line 130 ft. to the northwest corner of said Tract; thence south along
the west line of said tract, 619 ft. to the point of beginning, containing

2 acres, more or less, located upon and lying wholly within the northwest
quarter (NW'k) south of railroad, in Section 30, T -1 -N, R -12 -W. From: "A"
One - family District To: "I" Light Industrial District.
Subsection (e) - Z- 2179 -A - 6524 Baseline Road, described as
part of Tract 18, Arnold's Highland Acres, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described as follows: beginning at a point 20 ft. north of the centerline
of'Baseline Road; thence north parallel to the centerline of Oman Road,
150.0 ft.; thence east 140.0 ft; thence south 150.0 ft. to a point 20.0 ft.
north of the centerline of Baseline Road; thence west 140.0 ft. to the
point of beginning. From: "A" One - family District To: "E -1" quiet
Business District.
Subsection (f) - Z -2746 - 6200 Block of West 12th Street (south
side), described as part of the NE'k, Section 12, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: commencing at
the northwest corner NE'k, Section 12, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, run S 01' 47' 15" W 40.005 ft. to a point on the south right -of-
way line of West 12th Street, thence run S 87' 17' 27" E 1716.557 ft. along
said south right -of -way line to the point of beginning; thence continue on
along said south right -of -way line the following courses and distances:
S 87' 17' 27" E 248.830 ft., S 84' 48' 44" E 185.000 ft. to a point 48 ft.
south of the north line of Section 12, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, thence run N 87' 34'
48" E 171.336 ft. to a point on the (old) centerline of Garfield Street;
thence leaving the south right -of -way of West 12th Street run S 01. 30' 13"
W 227.752 ft. along said centerline of (old) Garfield Street to a point on
a 100' radius carve to the left, said curve having a chord bearing and distance
of N 64. 15' 54" W 82.085 ft.; thence run 84.584 ft. along the arc of said
curve to the point of tangency; thence run N 88. 29' 47" W 530.00 ft. along
the north right -of -way line of proposed Garfield Street to the point of
curvature of a 25' radius curve to the right having a long chord bearing and
distance of N 43' 29' 47" W 35.355 ft.; thence run 39.355 ft. along the arc
of said curve to the point of tangency on the east right -of -way of Cleveland
Street, thence run N 01' 30' 13" E 149.468 ft. along said east right -of -way
line to the point of curvature of a 25' radius curve to the right, having a
long chord bearing and distance of N 47' 06' 23" E 35.725 Ft.; thence run
39.796 ft. along the arc of said curve to the point of beginning, area con-
taining 2.789 acres more or less. From: "A" One - family District To: "D"
Apartment District.

SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 -2 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and designated "District Map" be
and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to
effect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.
