AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL
FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; APPROPRIATING
FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. In order to provide adequate fire protection in the
recently annexed territory, the following additional personnel pos-
itions are authorized within the Little Rock Fire Department:
(a) 3 Captains
(b) 3 Drivers
(Q) 3 Firefighters
SECTION 2. The sum of $30,000.00 is hereby appropriated from
the unappropriated balance of the General Fund for the purpose of
paying salaries, purchasing equipment and related expenses of the
additional personnel herein authorized to be employed.
SECTION 3. This Ordiance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
