ORDINANCE NO.' 12,818
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS
LOCATED IN THE SW2 OF THE SWW, SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 2
NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS CONSISTING
OF 60 ACRES, MORE OR LESS
WHEREAS, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, entered its order
on e-44tt.../ /,' , 1973, upon the Petition of Rainey Development Company and
Billy Joe Miller and Marion Miller, his wife, being the sole owners of all the property
affected, after due notice of hearing on said petition for the time and in the manner
prescribed by law, ordering the annexation to the City of Little Rock of the following
described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the S2 of the SW�, Section 21, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Southwest
corner of said Section 21; run thence N 0 degrees 52' W a distance of 596.4 feet;
thence N 65 degrees 08' E a distance of 561.8 feet; thence N 56 degrees 35' E
a distance of 52.15 feet; thence N 41 degrees 38' E a distance of 127.68 feet;
thence S 58 degrees 52' E a distance of 200.32 feet; thence S 89 degrees 52' E
a distance of 240 feet; thence N 46 degrees 22' E a distance of 51.07 feet;
thence S 25 degrees 37' E a distance of 70 feet; thence N 71 degrees 56' E a
distance of 136.9 feet; thence N 2 degrees 35' E a distance of 95.88 feet;
thence S 61 degrees 03' E a distance of 76.3 feet; thence S 71 degrees 38' E
a distance of 101.5 feet; thence S 75 degrees 12' E a distance of 581.45 feet;
thence S 0 degrees 24' E a distance of 560.64 feet; thence along the arc
of a curve to the right a distance of 50.4 feet (curve radius - 1,393.6 feet,
chord bearing N 89 degrees 16' E a distance of 50.37 feet); thence S 89
degrees 41' E a distance of 229.91 feet; thence along the arc of a curve
to the left a distance of 98 feet (curve radius - 1,401.8 feet, chord
bearing N 88 degrees 19' E a distance of 97.84 feet); thence N 86 degrees
20' E a distance of 55.34 feet; thence N 82 degrees 31' E a distance of
150.33 feet; thence N 86 degrees 20' E a distance of 57.1 feet; thence

the arc of a curve to the left a distance of 49.8 feet (curve radius - 1,333.6
feet, chord bearing S 89 degrees 14' W a distance of 49.8 feet); thence S
0 degrees 24' E a distance of 131.8 feet; thence N 89 degrees 39' W a
distance of 661.45 feet; thence N 89 degrees 52' W a distance of 1,311.3
feet to the Point of Beginning.

WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the entry of said
Order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and no person, firm or corpora-
tion has instituted any proceeding in the Circuit hurt of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or
elsewhere, to prevent such annexation, and no protestants have appeared and no notice
has been given to the authorities of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, of any attempt
to vacate, review, set aside or appeal from the said Order of the County Court; and
WHEREAS, the above described lands are contiguous to and adjoin the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting through
this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation of, and does hereby accept
and make a part of the incorporated area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of
the lands described hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. It is further ordered that said lands be, and they are hereby
assigned and attached to and made a part of the Fifth Ward of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
