AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 143 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of real property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an
improvement district be established for the purposes herein-
after set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard
all the parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition was signed by a majority in assessed value of the
owners of real property within said territory, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Block 1, Westwood
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence
West along the North line of said Block 1 to the Southerly
right -of -way line of Arkansas State Highway No. 5; thence
Southwest along said Southerly right -of -way line to the West
lint', of tie NE4 NE4 Section 23, Township 1 North, Range
13 West; thence South along the West line of said NE4 NE4
Section 23, 451 feet to a point which is 20 feet West of
the Northwest corner of Lot 26, Block 3, Westwood Addition.;:
thence East along the North line of Lots 26, 25 and 24,
Block 3, Westwood Addition to the West line of Lot 21,
Block 3, Westwood Addition; thence South to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 21; thence East along the South line of
Lots 21 through 12 to the Northwest corner of Lot 3,
Block 3, Westwood Addition; thence South.to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 3; thence East along the South line of
said Lot 3 to the Northwest corner of Lot 4 said Block 3;
thence South along the West line of Lots 4, 5 and 6 to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 6; thence East along the
South line of said Lot 6 to the Southeast corner thereof;
thence North along the West right -of -way line of Western
Hills Avenue to the point of beginning.

for the purposes of constructing within the district a sanitary
sewer collection system to serve the inhabitants of said dis-
trict and constructing a sanitary sewer line beyond the boundaries
of the sewer district, if necessary, to make the desired con-
nection with the sanitary sewer system of Little Rock, Arkansas;
said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and of the
materials that the commissioners of the district shall deem to
be in the best interests of the district, and the cost thereof
to be assessed upon the real property above described accord-
ing to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Sewer Improvement
District No.143 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Walter C.
Whitley James L. Sharp , and
Luther S.
Baugh, Jr. , who are owners of real property in said dis-
trict, are hereby named commissioners and shall compose the Board
of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
