AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $10,000.00
TO BE USED BY THE CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION AND
THE BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE FOR THE PROPOSED
BICENTENNIAL PROJECT IN WAR MEMORIAL PARK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $10,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the City's General Fund to
be used for the proposed Bicentennial Project in War Memorial
Park as planned by the City Beautiful Commission and the
Bicentennial Committee. At this time the project includes
construction of a Bell Tower with chimes as well as lighting
and landscaping. Funds will also be available from the State
of Arkansas and the United States of America.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance will be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
