ORDINANCE NO. 13,036
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
DELETING REFERENCES TO SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. Sections 25 -3, 25 -4, and 25 -5 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas are hereby deleted.
SECTION 2. Sections 43 -1 (49), 43 -4 (7), 43 -4.5 (1) (d), 43 -5 (5),
43 -5.5 (1) d, and 43 -6 (9) and (10) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas are hereby deleted.
SECTION 3. Section 43 -3. (8) of the Code of Ordinances of Little
a; Rock, Arkansas is hereby amended to read as follows:

Subsection (8). Uses customarily incident to any of the

A � surgeon, dentist, musician, or artist.

040 making, or other like home occupations conducted by persons residing on the

premises.
Any of the above uses may be conducted in the main
building provided such use shall not occupy a floor area greater than one-
(k) the floor area of the first story of the building.
The Board of Adjustment is hereby empowered and directed
to determine the number of paid employees or assistants to be allowed in any
of the above accessory uses in order to carry out the intent and spirit of
this chapter, provided, however, that in no case shall more than two (2)
paid assistants or employees be allowed.
SECTION 4. Section 43 -47 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Little Rock is hereby amended to read as follows:
All signs within the Central Little Rock Urban Renewal
Project area shall comply with Chapter 44 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock. Off premise signs are allowed only in the Metrocentre
and General Business Districts.

SECTION 5. There is hereby declared to be an emergency and
therefore this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
