ORDINANCE NO. 13,031
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REIMBURSEMENT TO
THE CITY BY CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT, ACTING
THROUGH METROPLAN, OF CERTAIN REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS HERETOFORE PAID; REPEALING ORDINANCES
NUMBERING 13,015 and 13,021; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of
passed February 18- 1975,
Sharing Funds and paid to
$19,905.66 to be used in
transit system; and,
WHEREAS, the City of
Little Rock by Ordinance #13,015
appropriated from Federal Revenue
Central Arkansas Transit the sum of
3efraying the cost of operation of said
Little Rock by Ordinance #13,021
passed March 18, 1975, appropriated from Federal Revenue
Sharing Funds the sum of $116,666.66 to be used for the purpose
of payment to Central Arkansas Transit to defray the cost of
operation of said transit system, of which appropriation the
sum of $58,333.33 has been paid to Central Arkansas Transit
leaving a balance of said total appropriation yet unpaid in
the amount of $58,333.33; and
WHEREAS, Central Arkansas Transit acting through Metroplan,
proposes to refund those Revenue Sharing Funds paid by the City
to it in the year 1975 pursuant to authority of the herein
identified ordinances in the total sum of $78,238.99 with the
understanding that the City of Little Rock will appropriate
from its general funds the sum of $140,000.00 to be paid to
Central Arkansas Transit in the year 1975 and utilized to defray
costs of operation and maintenance of said system.
NOW, THEREFORE „ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas agrees with
the proposal of Central Arkansas Transit, acting through
Metroplan, to refund to the City of Little Rock the sum of
$78,238.99 which sum of money has been paid by the City from
Federal Revenue Sharing Funds pursuant to authority of

ordinances #13,015 and 13,021. Said ordinances 13,015
and 13,021 are hereby repealed and the unexpended balance of
the sum appropriated by Ordinance #13,021, namely: $58,333.33
and the refunded amount to be made by Central Arkansas Transit
are ordered returned to the Federal Revenue Shaming Account
maintained by the City.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
