ORDINANCE NO 13.022
AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE
OF AERIAL BUCKET AND UTILITY BODY; AWARDING A CON-
TRACT FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND RENOVATIONS TO THE SENIOR
CITIZENS BUILDING AT THE EAST LITTLE ROCK COMMUNITY
COMPLEX; APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for an aerial bucket
and utility body and improvements and renovations to the Senior
Citizens Building at the East Little Rock Community Complex; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidders have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize such purchase of the aerial bucket and improvements
and renovations to the Senior Citizens Building to the lowest
responsible and responsive bidders.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bids on
an aerial bucket and utility body and improvements and renova-
tions to the Senior Citizens Building have been determined and
contracts awarded as follows:
One aerial bucket and utility body - contract awarded to
Dealers Truck Equipment Company in the amount of $12,146.79.
Renovations and Improvements to Senior Citizens Building at
East Little Rock Community Complex - contract awarded to Dewey
Pigue and Company in the amount of $23,285.00.
SECTION 2. The sum of $12,146.79 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the Street Fund to defray
the cost of the aerial bucket and utility body authorized in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the aerial bucket and utility
body and completion of the renovative work, or from time to time
as deemed necessary, the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrant or warrants in payment of said contracts. Said equipment
and renovative work shall at all times comply in all particulars
with bidding specifications.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
