AN ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART SECTIONS 44 -3
OF ARTICLE I AND 44 -5 -1 OF ARTICLE II ALL
OF CHAPTER 44 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
REGULATING SIGNS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Subsection (19) of Section 44 -3 of Article I
of Chapter 44 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"(19) Off - Premise Signs. A commercial advertising
structure which advertises a business, product
or service, not on or offered on the premise
on which subject sign is located."

SECTION 2. Subsection (b) of Section 44 -5 -1 of Article II
of Chapter 44 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to

"(b) Shall meet set back requirements of the zoning
b b and subdivision ordinances of the City of Little
,b p Rock, Arkansas, but in no case shall be located
o within 25 feet of any open street."
SECTION 3. Subsection (d) of Section 44 -5 -1 of Article II
of Chapter 44 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed and
deleted from said section and subsections (e) through (h) are
hereby relettered (d) through (g).
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
