RESOLUTION NO. 11,843
3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
4 FOR THE PURCHASE OF READY MIX CONCRETE FOR THE
5 STREET DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the City advertised formal Bid No. C04020 to solicit proposals for an
8 annual contract for ready mix concrete for the Street Department, and the only bid
9 received was from Levy Concrete.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a agreement with
13 Levy Concrete, which submitted the only proposal, in an approximate amount of Fifty
14 Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($50,000.00) for the annual contract for ready mix
15 concrete for the Street Department.
16 Section 2. Funds for this agreement are available in accounts 205- 220 -T110-
17 3020/205- 220 -T198 -3020 (Concrete Ramp Program) and 200 - 220 - 2210 -3020 (Streets,
18 Alleys and Bridges).
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
20 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
21 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
23 originally a part of this resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which
25 are in conflict with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
26 such conflict.
