HomeMy WebLinkAbout13189ORDINANCE NO 13,189 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $106,440.46 AS THE CITY`S MATCHING FUNDS TO THE HIGH STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of a cooperation agreement between the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Housing Authority dated March 30, 1970 the City of Little Rock committed to pay the sum of $133,291.46 in cash matching funds to the High Street Improvement Project, which wum was reserved at that time in the City's General Fund; and WHEREAS, in order to close out this project, it is the desire of the Board of Directors that these funds should now be paid to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Develop- ment; and WHEREAS, the City has accumulated the sum of $26,851.00 as a credit on said Project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The sum of $106,440.46 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City of Little Rock as the City's matching funds to the High Street Improvement Project in order that said Project may be closed out. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. PASSED: August 17, 1976 ATTEST APPROVED: City Cle Mayo
