AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY'S VEHICLE
LIABILITY INSURANCE CONTRACT FOR ONE YEAR;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1975, the Board of Directors adopted
Resolution #5,386 which awarded a contract to Baldwin - Meadors
and Associates, Inc. for city vehicle liability insurance for
one year; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
extend that said contract for one year in accordance with
option to renew contained in the bidding specifications for
said insurance contract.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That certain contract with Baldwin - Meadors
and Associates, Inc. for vehicle liability insurance on all
city owned vehicles is hereby extended for one year. Said
policy is noncancellable and the premium for such shall not
exceed the sum of $72,000.00.
SECTION 2. The sum of $12,000.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to be used
to pay part of the premium for the contract of insurance auth-
orized in Section 1 hereof.
