ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND ABANDONING RESERVE A,
PROSPECT TERRACE #3 ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 8th day of April, 1976, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon all of Reserve A, Prospect Terrace #3
Addition to the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition now
appearing of record in Plat Book 3, Page 52, in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, said lands being sometimes also known as Reserve A, said
Addition, which said lands were dedicated to the public as a street; with the condi-
tion in said dedication that said lands should revert to the grantor, his heirs, suc-
cessors and assigns in the event said lands were not used as a public street; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard
on the question and has ascertained that the lands hereinbefore described, have
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street but has never been used by
the public; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by
the abandonment of such lands;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and
abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to
the lands designated as follows:
Reserve A, Prospect Terrace #3 Addition to the City of Little Rock,
as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in
Plat Book 3, Page 52, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas.
subject, however, to any public utility and drainage easements located in said lands.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall
be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed
Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
