HomeMy WebLinkAbout13140ORDINANCE NO 13,140 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE RELOCATION OF THE PULASKI COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FROM THE CITY'S FACILITIES AT 701 WEST MARKHAM STREET TO CENTRAL BAPTIST HOSPITAL; APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO DEFRAY THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE COST OF SUCH RELOCATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, arrangements and plans have been formulated for the relocation of the Pulaski County Health Department from the City of Little Rock's facilities at 701 West Markham Street to the Central Baptist Hospital; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Little Rock's share of the relocation cost of said Health Department, exclusive of the Milk & Dairy Division, is $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, it is estimated that the cost of relocating the Milk & Dairy facilities to the said Central Baptist Hospital together with a charge for rental at said Hospital for the Milk & Dairy Division for the remainder of the year 1976 computed at $3.00 per square foot per year requires an appropriation in the amount of $ 11, 308.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The relocation by Pulaski County of its Health Department facilities located on City of Little Rock property at 701 West Markham Street to Central Baptist Hospital is hereby approved, and the sum of $10,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to defray the City's share of the cost of relocating said Health Department exclusive of the Milk & Dairy Division. SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the unappro- priated balance of the General Fund the sum of $ 11,308.00 to be used in defraying the cost of relocating the Milk & Dairy Divi- sion of said Health Department to the said Central Baptist Hospital and for payment of rental for said Milk & Dairy Division at the Hospital for the remainder of the year 1976 computed ar the rate of $3.00 per square foot per year. 640° y1 C�7 -2- SECTION 3.
