AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING TWO PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS FOR STREET
AND RELATED PURPOSES AND FOR A SANITARY SEWER EASE-
MENT; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE CON-
DEMNATION PROCEEDINGS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby condemn for
public purpose, being a street and related purposes, the following
parcel of real property lying in the City of Little Rock, County of
Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
PARCEL D
Part of the N-� of Block 54, East Morris Heights Suburban
Addition to Little Rock, Arkansas, more particularly des-
cribed as: Beginning at a point on the North line of said
Block 54, 11.89 ft. East of the Northwest corner of Lot 12
said Block 54; thence Easterly along said North line, 93.74
ft. to a point on the West line of Lot 112, Second Installment
Longlea Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence
Southeasterly along the West line of said Lot 112, 45.2 ft;
thence Southeasterly and Northeasterly along the arc of a 25
ft. radius curve to the left having a chord distance of 35.36
ft to a point on the South line of said Lot 112; thence North-
easterly along said South line, 88.75 ft. to a point 6.25 ft.
West of the Southeast corner of said Lot 112, said point also
being located on the North line of Lot 3 said Block 54; thence
Easterly along the North line of said Block 54, 60.70 ft. to the
Northeast corner of Lot 1 said Block 54; thence Southerly along
the East line of said Lot 1, 20.65 ft. to a point on the North
line of Lot 110 said Longlea Addition; thence Southwesterly
along the North line of said Lot 110 and the North line of Lot
111 said Longlea Addition, 129.6 ft.; thence Southwesterly and
Southeasterly along the arc of a 25 ft. radius curve to the left
having a chord distance of 35.37 ft. to a point on the West line
of said Lot 111; thence Southeasterly along said West line, being
the arc of a 1186 ft. radius ctarve to the right having a chord
distance of 19.07 ft. to a point on the South line of Lot 5 said
Block 54; thence Westerly along the South line of said N' Block
54, 93.39 ft. to a point 96.12 ft. East of the Southwest corner
of Lot 12 said Block 54; thence Northwesterly 164.50 ft. to the
point of beginning containing 0.4760 acre more or less.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock does hereby condemn for public
purpose being a sanitary sewer easement the following parcel of real
property lying in the City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas, to -wit:

PARCEL D(1)
A 15 ft. sanitary sewer easement located in the Nh Block
54 East Morris Heights Suburban Addition to Little Rock,
Arkansas, more particularly described as: Beginning at
a point on the North line of said Block 54, 5.63 ft. East
of the Northwest corner of Lot 8 said Block 54, said point also
being located on the West line of Lot 112 Second Installment,
Longlea Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence
Easterly along the North line of said Block 54 East Morris
Heights Suburban Addition, 17.62 ft.; thence Southeasterly
along a line 15 ft. East of and parallel with the West line
of said Lot 112 Longlea Addition, 58.85 ft. to a point on
the South line of said Lot 112; thence Southwesterly and
Northwesterly along the arc of a 25 ft. radius curve to the
right having a chord distance of 27.38 ft. to a point on the
West line of said Lot 112; thence Northwesterly along said
West line, 45.2 ft. to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. The City of Little Rock hereby declares that Parcel
D described in Section 1 above is needed for public purpose as afore-
said and that it desires to acquire fee simple title to said parcel
which is apparently owned by Helen M. Plunkett and Alice R. Plunkett
and that Parcel D(1) described in Section 2 above and apparently owned
by Helen M. Plunkett and Alice R. Plunkett is needed for a,p &rmanent
sanitary sewer easement and the City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to file in the proper court proceedings under the City's
power of eminent domain for the condemnation of said parcel and secure
an order of said court permitting the City to take possession of said
property upon posing a bond in an amount to be determined by the
Court and to do any and all other things necessary in order to obtain
immediate possession of said property.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
