AN ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART ORDINANCE NO.
12,856 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 13,077
PERTAINING TO THE EMPLOYMENT, SALARY,
AUTHORITY, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF
CARLETON E. McMULLIN AS CITY MANAGER; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 12,856 passed
October 31, 1973, as amended by Ordinance No. 13,077 passed
August 5, 1975, is hereby amended to the extent only of changing
the annual basic salary for Carleton E. McMullin as City Manager
effective January 1, 1977 to $38,477.00, said amount being
adjusted to include the sum of $4,800.00 heretofore paid as
allowance for maintenance of office- facilities in the home
and taxes on said latter figure, and an increase of four and
one -half (4h$) percent.
SECTION 2. Subsection a) of Section 2 of Ordinance No.
12,856 as amended by Ordinance No. 13,077 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
a) He shall be paid the sum of $280.00 monthly, said
amount being adjusted to include taxes thereon to defray
the cost of providing and maintaining an automobile
essential to the fulfillment of his duties as City
Manager and other incidental expenses incurred for and
on behalf of the City of Little Rock in his capacity as
City Manager .
SECTION 3. Except to the extent as modified by this
Ordinance, all provisions of Ordinance No. 12,856, as amended by
Ordinance No. 13,077 shall continue in full force and effect
and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after Sts passage.
