AN ORDINANCE. ESTABLISHING SEWER IMPROVEMENT
llISTRIC'r NO. 145 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming; to be the owners of a majority in assessed
value of real property located within the territory hereinafter described
have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be established
for the purposes hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the parties desiring to
be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed by a majority in
assessed value of the owners of real property within said territory, now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district embrac-
ing the following property, to -wit:
Sanitary sewer district located in Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14, T -1 -5 R -13 -W,
and Section 7, T -1 -S R -12 -W. Pulaski County, Arkansas, described by metes and
hounds as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the North right -of -way line of the CRIV
Railway and the West line of the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 14; thence North
along the West line of said SE 114 SW 1/4 Section 14 and continue North along
the West line of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4, SE 1/4 NW 1/4, and the NE 1/4 NW 1/4 said
Section 14 to the Southeast corner of the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 11; thence
:lest along the South line of said SW 114 SW 1/4 Section 11 to the Southwest
corner thereof; thence North along the West line of said SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section
11 and continue North along the West line of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 11
to the Northwest corner thereof; thence East along the North line of said
NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 11 to the Northeast corner thereof; thence South along
the East line of said NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 11 to the Northwest corner of the
SE 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 11; thence East along the"North line of said SE 1/4
SW 1/4 Section 11 and continue East along the North line of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4
said Section 11 to the Northeast corner thereof; thence South along the East
line of said SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11 to the Southwest corner of the N 112
SE 1/4 SE 1/4 said Section 11; thence East along the South line of said N 112
SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 11 to the West line of the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 12;
thence North along the West line of said SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 12 to the
Northwest corner thereof; thence East along the North line of said SW 1/4
SW 1/4 Section 12 and continue East along the North line of the SE 1/4 SW 1/4
said Section 12 to a point which is 1,001.35 ft. East of the Northwest corner
thereof; thence North 441 ft. to a point; thence West 254.1 ft. to a point;
thence North to the North line of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4 said Section 12; thence
East along the North line of said NE 1/4 SVI 1/4 Section 12 to the Southwest
corner of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 said Section 12; thence North along the West line
of said SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 12 to the Southwest corner of Capital Place
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence S 89 043'10" E alono the
South line of said Capital Place Addition, 890 ft. to a point; thence
N 0 035' E, 230 ft. to a point; thence S 89 °43'10" E, 330 ft. to a point; thence
N 0 035' E to the North line of the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 said Section 12; thence
East along the North line of said SE 1/4 NW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 12 and continue
'East along the North line of the S 1/2 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 said Section 12 to the
hest line of Section 7, T -1 -S R -12 -W; thence North along the West line of said
Section 7 to the Northwest corner of the S 112 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 7;
thence East along the North line of said S 112 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 7 and
continue East along the North line of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 to the Southwest
corner of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 7; thence North along the West
line of said NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 7 to the Northwest corner thereof;
thence East along the North line of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 7
to the Northeast corner of the NW 1/4 said Section 7; thence South along the
East line of said NW 1/4 Section 7 to the intersection with the North right -
of -way line of the CRIbP Railway; thence Southwesterly along said North right -

for the purposes of constructing within the district a sanitary sewer
collection system to serve the inhabitants of said district and construct-
ing a sewer line beyond the boundaries of the sewer district, if necessary,
to make the desired connection with the sanitary sewer system of Little
Rock, Arkansas; said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and of the
i - materials that the commissioners of the district shall deem to be in the
best interests of the district, and the cost thereof to be assessed upon
the real property above described according to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Sewer Improvement District No. 145
of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Charlotte M. Mosier I
Claude Brasseale, Jr. and J. F. Kellar
who are owners of real property in said district, are hereby named commis-
sioners and shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
