AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO DEFRAY
INCREASED SALARY EXPENSES FOR LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL COURTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Act 188 of the 1977 General Assembly of the
State of Arkansas provides for increasing salaries for judges,
clerks and probation officers of the Little Rock Municipal
Courts as well as providing for two new clerk positions and
changing the title of one probation officer to the "Chief
Probation Officer; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it will cost the
City approximately $27,276.00 to implement the provisions of
said Act 188.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The sum of $27,276.00 is hereby appropriated
from the unexpended balance of the General Fund to implement
the provisions of Act 188, of the 1977 General Assembly of
the State of Arkansas to provide increased salaries for the
municipal court judges, clerks and probation officers and to
provide for two new clerk positions.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
