AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH UNIMARK- MCDONALD, INC. FOR PUBLIC OFFICIAL
LIABILITY INSURANCE; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE FIRST
YEAR PREMIUM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager, acting for and on behalf of the City
of Little Rock is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Unimark- McDonald, Inc., of Dallas, Texas for liability insurance
for certain public officials of the City, excluding the Police Department,
the Airport Commission and the Airport Manager. A copy of said Contract
is attached to this Ordinance marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof
as though set out herein word for word.
SECTION 2. The sum of $13,153.00 is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund to defray the cost of the
first year premium for the liability insurance authorized in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
