ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
THAT PART OF 12TH STREET PIKE SHOWN ON THE PLAT
OF SANTA FE PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
4th day of
August , 1977, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon all of that part of 12th
Street Pike, to -wit:
All that part of 12th Street Pike shown on
the original Plat of SANTA FE PARK ADDITION
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas re-
corded in Plat Record Book 1, at Page 164,
filed for record on January 6, 1912, which
lies between the South line of Block 43
SANTA FE PARK ADDITION to the City of
Little Rock and the North line of West
Markham Street less that part which is
shown as an Additional Street Dedication
shown on the plat of Lots A & B, Block 43,
SANTA FE PARK ADDITION, being a replat of
said Block 43 and additional property,
recorded in Plat Record Book 40, at Page 35
filed for record on August 1, 1977.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in
the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the
question and has ascertained that the street hereinbefore
described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use
as a street, as herein described; has not been actually used
by the public generally for at least five (5) years subsequent
to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the
property abutting upon the street to be vacated have filed
with the Board of Directors their written consent to such
abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not
be adversely affected by the abandonment of such street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, to-
gether with the rights of the public generally, in and to:

corded in Plat Record Book 1, at Page 164,
filed for record on January 6, 1912, which
lies between the South line of Block 43
SANTA FE PARK ADDITION to the City of
Little Rock and the North line of West
Markham Street less that part which is
shown as an Additional Street Dedication
shown on the plat of Lots A & B, Block 43,
SANTA FE PARK ADDITION, being a replat of
said Block 43 and additional property, re-
corded in Plat Record Book 40, at Page 35,
filed for record on August 1, 1977
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said Street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records
of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
