ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
A PORTION OF WOLFE STREET LYING SOUTH OF 8TH
STREET, NORTH OF 9TH STREET, AND LYING BETWEEN
BLOCKS 2 and 3 OF FAUST'S ADDITION, AND BLACKS
2 and 3 OF MARSHALS, AND WOLE'E'S ADDITION, TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WHEREAS, Arkansas Children Hospital has duly filed a
Petition with the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, on the 14th day of July, 1977, asking the
Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of that portion
of Wolfe Street lying south of 8th Street, north of 9th Street,
and lying between Blocks 2 and 3 of Faust's Addition and Blocks
2 and 3 of Marshall and Wolfe's Addition, to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plats of said additions
now appearing of record in Record Book M2 at Page 625, at
Record Book M2 at Page 638, and at Record Book AB at Page 185,
said books being in the Office of the Clerk and Ex- Officio
Recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any
public easements on said Wolfe Street, and
WHEREAS, after due notices required by law have been given,
the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in
the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on this
question and has ascertained that the portion of Wolfe Street
herein above described, has heretofore been dedicated to the
public for use as a street, and has been used by the general
public; the Arkansas Childrens Hospital is the owner of all of
the property abutting upon said portion of Wolfe Street, and
Arkansas Childrens Hospital, as Petitioner herein, seeks this
ordinance; the public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of the subject portion of Wolfe Street;
the public interest and welfare will be increased and will be
benefited by approval of the Petition of Arkansas Children Hospital;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TBL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to that portion of
Wolfe Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, designated as follows:
That portion of Wolfe Street lying south of
8th Street, north of 9th Street, and lying
between Blocks 2 and 3 of Faust's Addition,
and Blocks 2 and 3 of Marshall and Wolfe's
Addition, both being additions to the City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
This release shall be subject to any public utility easements
located on or in the above described portion of Wolfe Street.
SECTION 2: A copy of this ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk for Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be filed
in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and shall be
recorded in the Deed records of Pulaski County.
SECTION 3: The ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
