ORDINANCE 13,352
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS HAS HEREBY DETERMINED THAT A MAJORITY OF THE REAL
ESTATE OWNERS OF A TRACT OF LAND CONTIGUOUS AND ADJOINING THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DULY PETITIONED THE COUNTY COURT
OF PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, THAT THEIR PROPERTY BE ANNEXED TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, and
WHEREAS, after publication of notice of the hearing on
said petition and other formalities required by the Statutes of
Arkansas a hearing was held and the County Court of Pulaski County
made a finding that all requirements for annexation had been met,
and
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of May, 1977, the County Court of
Pulaski County, Arkansas entered an Order annexing to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, the lands described in this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, that no proceeding was instituted in the Circuit
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to prevent the annexation
within thirty days from the date of the order of the County Court
of Pulaski County, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That from and after the passage and approval
of this ordinance the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant
to the Statutes of the State of Arkansas, does hereby accept
the said annexation and the following described lands are
hereby annexed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to wit:
The Western Half (W 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4) North of the Highway right -of -way of
Interstate Highway 30, Section 36, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
All that part of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)
of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) North of the
highway right -of -way of Interstate 30, Section 36,

Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, containing 58.236 acres, more or less.
Part of the-Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) and part of the North-
east Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter
(SE 1/4) of Section 35, Township 1 North, Range
13 West, beginning at the Northeast corner of the
Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4), thence West 1,316 feet to the Northwest
corner of said Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4), thence South 1,671 feet
to the North right -of -way line of New Benton Highway;
thence Northeast along the right -of -way of said New
Benton Highway to the point of interesection of said
right -of -way with the East line of said Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4)
thence northerly along said East line of the South-
east Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4) to the point of beginning, containing 38.2
acres, more or less.
Including all rights -of -way of public roads abutting
and adjacent to the parcels described above.
SECTION 2. The above described lands and accepted by this
ordinance shall be, and become a part of the 4th ward of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
