ORDINANCE NO. 13,351
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND
MAKING THE SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owners of the hereinafter des-
cribed lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on August 23, 1977, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, found that the petition was signed be a majority
of the total number of real property owners in said area proposed
to be annexed and by the owners of over one -half of the acreage
in said area; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the
present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
that an accurate plat or map of said lands had been filed with
and made a part of said petition; that proper notice had been
given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law; and that
all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner pre-
scribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the accep-
tance of same by the Board of Directors of said city at the proper
time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said
order of annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired
and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the following described
lands contiguous to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be, and the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little Rock:
Section 31, Township 2 North, Range 13 West
The Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 31, Town,
ship 2 North, Range 13 West.
Section 6, Township 1 North, Range 13 West
The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/'41 of said Section 6, and
The North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter (N 1/2, NE 1/4, SE 1/4); and
The Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter (NE 1/4, NW 1/4, SE 1/4).
Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 13 West
The West One -Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (W 1/2, SE 1/4, SW 1/4,
SE 1/4); and
The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast.Quarter (SW 1/4p' SW 1/4, SE 1/4); and
The South Half of the Southwest Quarter ($ 1/2, SW. 1/4) .
Section 32, Township 2 North, Range 13 West
The South-Half of the Southeast Quarter (S 1/2, SE 1/4); and
The South Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter (S 1/2, NE 1/4, SE 1/4); and
The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW 1/4, SE
1/4); and
The South Half of the Southwest Quarter (S 1/2, SW 1/4); and
Mhb South Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (S 1/2, NW 1/4, SW 1/4). :.
Section 5, Township 1 North, Range 13 West
The North Half (N 1/2) of said Section 5; and
The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (N 1/2, NW 1/4, SW 1/4); and
The North Half of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter (N 1/2, S 1/2, NW 1/4, SW 1/4); and
The North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter (N 1/2, NE 1/4, SW 1/4); and
The North Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter (N 1 /2,,NW 1/4, SE 1/4); and
The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NE 1/4,
SE 1/4) .
Section 4, Township 1 North, Range 13 West
All of said Section 4, EXCEPT the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)
and EXCEPT the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(NE 1/4, SW 1/4) and EXCEPT the South Half of the Southwest
Quarter (S 1/21 SW 1/4) and EXCEPT that portion of said
Section 4 included in:
Beverly Hills Subdivision, an addition to the City of
Little Rock shown by plats recorded in Plat Book 17, Page
35, and Plat Book 23, Page 40, of the Pulaski County Real
Estate Records; and
Markham Pines Subdivision, an addition to the City of Little
Rock shown by plats recorded in Plat Book 29, Page 60, of
the Pulaski County Real Estate Records; and
Birchwood Addition to the City of Little Rock shown by
plats recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 34, Plat Book 81 Page
56, Plat Book 8, Page 57, Plat Book 15, Page 47, and Plat
Book 15, Page 71, of the Pulaski County Real Estate Records,
INCLUDING ALL ABUTTING AND ADJOINING STREETS AND RIGHTS OF
WAY, AND LESS AND EXCEPT ANY PROPERTY ALREADY IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK.
