ORDINANCE OF THE BUM OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
-ARKANSAS VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF WEST
15th STREET LOCATED BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AVENUE AND A POINT 125
FEET WEST OF THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 23rd day of June ,
1977, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon that portion of
West 15th Street as described below; and
WHEREAS, after due notice, the Board of Directors has, at the time
and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard
on the question and has ascertained that the portion of West 15th Street
described below has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street;
that all of the owners of property abutting upon that portion of West 15th
Street to be vacated, abandoned and closed have filed with the Board of
Directors written consent to such vacation, abandonment and closing; that
said portion of West 15th Street as described below is no longer need or
required for corporate purposes or for use by the general public or by
adjoining owners; and accordingly the public interest and welfare will not
be adversely affected by the abandonment of the portion of West 15th Street
described below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to that portion of West 15th Street located between
the West right of way line of University Avenue and a point 125 feet West of
the West right of way line of University Avenue, which portion of West 15th
Street is located between Block 3 Cox's Subdivision of Taylor & Bodeman's
Subdivision and -Block 58 Taylor & Bodeman's Subdivision, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the West right
of way line of University Avenue and the South boundary
line of Block 3 Cox's Subdivision of Taylor & Bodeman's
Subdivision; run thence West alonq the South boundary
line of said Block 3 a distance of 125 feet to a point;
run thence South 13 feet to the North boundary line of
Block 58 Taylor & Bodeman's Subdivision; run thence

East almg the North line of said Block 58 a distance of
125 feet to the point of intersection with the West right
of way line of University Avenue; run thence North along
the West right of way line of University Avenue 13 feet
to the point of beginning; all located in the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located therein.
SECTIM 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas and recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3.
in force from and after its passage.
