AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO REPAIR THE
FOLLOWING FLOOD DAMAGED PARK FACILITIES: THE
REPLACEMENT OF THE MONKEY HOUSE ROOF AT THE ZOO;
REPAIR OF BRIDGES & A MAINTENANCE BUILDING AT
HINDMAN PARK; REPAIR OF RESTROOMS AT BOYLE AND
HINDMAN PARKS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That $25,000.00 be appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund for repairing the
following flood damaged park facilities:
(a) Replacement of the monkey house roof at the zoo;
(b) Repair of the bridges and maintenance building
at Hindman Park;
(c) Repair of restrooms at Boyle and Hindman Parks.
SECTION 2. Each of these projects will be funded under the
National Disaster Assistance Administration Program, and when
this federal money is received, the funds will be reimbursed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
