AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND ASSIGN-
ING SAME TO WARDS
WHEREAS, a Petition was filed with the County
Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owners of the
hereinafter described land, praying that said lands be
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas; and,
WHEREAS, on the 17 7*'� day of July, 1978, the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the Petition was
signed by Winrock Homes, Inc. and other petitioners constitut-
ing a majority of the landowners in the area to be annexed and
owners in fee simple of more than one -half (�2) of the area to
be annexed; that said lands are contiguous to and adjoining
the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas; that an accurate plat or map of said lands had been
filed with and made a part of said Petition; that proper notice
had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by
law, and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in
the manner prescribed by law, and that said lands should be
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of
said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from
said order of annexation made by the County Court has ex-
pired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the following described lands con-
tiguous to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,

be and the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed
to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
A tract of land in the East Half of the
Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(E;Z NE'4 SWk) , of Section 15, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the
Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(NE's$ SA) of Section 15, Township 1 North,
Range 13 West; thence South 0° 19' 38" East
1312.07 feet; thence North 890 36' 0" West
665.28 feet; thence North 00 05' 49" West
1311 feet; thence South 890 41' 30" East
660 feet to the Point of Beginning, con-
taining 19.95 acres, more or less, includ-
ing such part of the above described prop-
erty which previously has been platted as
Lots 1 through 18, Lots 19 through 31, Lots
32 through 57, and Lots 58 through 60, West-
brook, an Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and including any
adjoining and abutting streets and rights of
way.
Section 2. That the above described lands shall be
annexed to and made a part of Ward No. 4 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and the same shall henceforth be a
part of said Ward as fully as existing parts of said Ward.
