AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO CONVEY IN FEE SIMPLE TO REBSAMEN
COMPANIES, INC. PARTS OF LAND AND $8,800.00
IN EXCHANGE FOR AN EASEMENT IN THE BLAKEMORE
DITCH CDBG PROJECT AREA; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock needs an easement in certain
property for drainage or street improvements as part of the Commu-
nity Development Block Grant Program, said property described as
part of Lots 8 through 12 and 15 through 19, Block 6, Remmel Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, 4,060 square feet, and
more fully described in Exhibit "A "; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is willing to pay the owners
of the property, Rebsamen Companies, Inc., the sum of $8,800.00 and
deed in fee simple ownership to all that part of Lots 5, 6 and 7,
Block 6, Remmel Addition to the City of Little Rock, lying south of
Blakemore Ditch.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to convey in fee simple to Rebsamen Companies, Inc., the parts of
land described above and $8,800.00, in exchange for an easement in
the Blakemore Ditch CDBG Project Area as described in Exhibit "A ".
A copy of the Exhibit is attached hereto and made a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its Massage.
