AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY LOCATED WITHIN THE NE4
OF SECTION 4, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 13
WEST, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS (BEVERLY
HILLS ADDITION) TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described lands
paying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on May 2, 1978 the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas found that the petition was signed by a majority of the total
number of real property owners in said area proposed to be annexed and
by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage of said area; that
said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate map of said
lands had been filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper
notice had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law;
and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner pre-
scribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to acceptance of same by
the Board of Directors of said city at the proper time as provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of
annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal
has been taken from said order.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and adjoining
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and the same are hereby accepted as
part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
A tract of land in the N'h NE4 NE4, Section 4,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the N4 NE4
NE4 said Section 4; thence S 10 47' 30" W along
the East line of said N'ij NE4 NE4 657.9 feet to

the southeast corner thereof; thence N 870.19' 30" W
along the.south line of said N'k NE4 NE4, 1,017.4
feet to a point; thence N 00 57' 30" E, 131.0 feet
to a point; thence N 870 19' 30" W, 270.0 feet to
a point on the west line of said N'k NE4 NE4, thence
N 00 57' 30" E along said west line, 402.0 feet to
a point; thence S 870 19' 30" E 105.0 feet to a
point; thence S 710 07' 30" E, 53.0 feet to a point;
thence N 810 52' 30" E 82.3 feet to a point; thence
S 550 34' 30" E 29.4 feet to a point; thence S 870
19' 30" E, 600.0 feet to a point; thence N 570 38'
30" E 61.1 feet to a point; thence S 750 10' 30" E,
108.8 feet to a point; thence S 360 07' 30" E,
58.0 feet to a point; thence S 660 34' 30" E, 109.2
feet to a point; thence N 130 06' 30" E, 77.85 feet
to a point; thence N 20 40' 30" E, 135.3 feet to a
point on the north line of said N4 NE4 NE4; thence
S 870 19' 30" E, along said north line, 123.0 feet
to the point of beginning containing 14.876 acres,
more or less,
platted as Beverly Hills, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, and
filed of record June 8, 1965 in Plat Book No. 17 at page 35 in the
office of the Circuit Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas;

Arkansas more particularly described as: Beginning
at the Northwest corner of Lot 53, Beverly Hills
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said
point being on the West line of the N4 NE4 NE4, said
Section 4; thence N 00 57' 30" E along said West
line of the N'h NE4 NE4, 125.0 feet to the Northwest
corner thereof; thence S 870 19' 30" E, along the
North line of said N4 NE4 NE4, 1084.5 feet; thence
S 20 40' 30" W, 47.5 feet; thence Southwesterly
along the arc of a 311.5 foot radius curve to the
right, having a long chord bearing and distance of
S 140 27' 13" W, 128.2 feet to the Northwest corner
of Lot 12, said Beverly Hills Addition; thence N
360 07' 30" W, 58.0 feet to the Northeast corner of
Lot 66, said Addition; thence N 750 10' 30" W along
the North line of said Lot 66, 108.8 feet to the
Northwest corner thereof; thence S 570 38' 30" W
along the West line of said Lot 66, 61.1 feet to
the Southwest corner thereof, said corner being the
common corner of Lots 69, 67 said Addition and said
Lot 66; thence N 870 19' 30" W along the North line
of Lots 69 thru 77 said Addition, 600.0 feet to the
Northwest corner of said Lot 77, said corner being
the North common corner of Lot 78, said Addition and
said Lot 77; thence N 550 34' 30" W along the North
line of said Lot 78 to the Northern most corner
thereof; thence S 810 52' 30" W and continuing along
said North line, 82.3 feet to the Western most corner
of said North line; thence N 710 07' 30" W, 53.0
feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 53, said Addition;
thence N 870 19' 30" W along the North line of said
Lot 53, 105.0 feet to the point of beginning
platted as Section B of Beverly Hills Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, filed of record February 26, 1969 in the office of the
Circuit Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas in Plat Book No. 23 at page 40.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
