AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter
described lands praying that said lands be annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1978, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas found that the petition was signed by a
majority of the total number of real property owners in said
area proposed to be annexed and by the owners of more than
one -half of the acreage of said area; that said lands are
contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate map of said
lands had been filed with and made a part of said petition;
that proper notice had been given for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining
thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law and
that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to acceptance of same
by the Board of Directors of said city at the property time
as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said
order of annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has
expired and no appeal has been taken from said order.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous
to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and
same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:

Part of Lots 1 through 6, inclusive, Morgan Subdivision,
being a part of the SE4 NW4, Section 33, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest corner of said SE4 NW4, Section 33, thence
South 00 degrees 41 minutes 30 seconds East 25.0 feet
to the point of beginning; said point being on the
South right of way line of Rainwood Road; thence North
89 degrees 21 minutes 29 seconds East and along the
South right -of -way line of Rainwood Road 922.49 feet to
a point on the West right -of -way line of Green Mountain
drive; thence South 00 degrees 20 minutes 25 seconds
East and along the West right -of -way line of Green
Mountain Drive 128.06 feet; thence along a curve to the
left whose radius is 507.5 feet, a chord bearing and
distance of South 16 degrees 53 minutes 05 seconds East
289.5 feet; thence South 89 degrees 18 minutes 30
seconds West 502.5 feet; thence South 44 degrees 18
minutes 30 seconds West 113.14 feet; thence South 89
degrees 18 minutes 30 seconds West 420.0 feet to a
point on the West line of said SE4 NA Section 33;
thence North 00 degrees 41 minutes 30 seconds West
along the West line of said SE4 NW4, Section 33, 483.88
feet to the point of beginning; being more specifically
described as TRACT A, RAINWOOD FOREST SUBDIVISION.
A part of Lots 1 through 6, inclusive, Morgan Subdivision,
being a part of the SE4 NW4, Section 33, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest Corner of said SE4 NW4 Section 33; thence
South 00 degrees 41 minutes 30 seconds East 508.88 feet
to the point of beginning; thence North 89 degrees 18
minutes 30 seconds East 420.0 feet; thence North 44
degrees 18 minutes 30 seconds East 113.14 feet; thence
North 89 degrees 18 minutes 30 seconds East 502.5 feet
to a point on the West right -of -way line of Green
Mountain Drive; thence along the arc of a curve to the
left whose chord bearing and distance is South 35
degrees 32 minutes 25 seconds East 37.82 feet to the
point of tangent of said curve; thence South 37 degrees
41 minutes 25 seconds East 29.75 feet to the point of
curvature of a curve to the right; thence along the arc
of said curve whose radius is 447.5 feet and whose
chord bearing and distance is South 22 degrees 57
minutes 55 seconds East 228.9 feet; thence South 88
degrees 14 minutes West 114.7 feet; thence South 78
degrees 25 minutes 30 seconds West 273.58 feet; thence
South 43 degrees 02 minutes 30 seconds West 369.2 feet;
thence North 84 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds West
462.88 feet to a point on the West line of said SE4
NW4, Section 33, thence North 00 degrees 41 minutes 30
seconds West and along the West line of said SE4 NW4,
Section 33, 458.0 feet to the point of beginning; being
more specifically described as TRACT B, RAINWOOD FOREST
SUBDIVISION.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
