HomeMy WebLinkAbout13441584558 ORDINANCE NO. 13.441 ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE KO95, VACATING CLOSING IN BLOCK ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 22nd day of February , 19 78 , asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of the alley in Block 95, Original City of Little Rock, as designated on the certified survey of said property filed with the Little Rock City Clerk, subject, however, to any public easements in said alley; and WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, as herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley described as follows: Unnamed alley, 20 feet wide, running north and south through Block 95, Original City of Little Rock, Ar6anglockb95ndand ont the ewes tbyL 1 Lots7 through , through 12, Block 95. subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said alley. 7076 SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the County. SECTION 3.
