AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described lands
praying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1978, the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas found that the petition was signed by a majority of the
total number of real property owners in said area proposed to be
annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage of
said area; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present
corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accu-
rate map of said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining thereto
had been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands
should be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, subject to acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of
said city at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order
of annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no
appeal has been taken from said order.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and
adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and same are hereby
accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; to -wit:
All of Woodland Heights, a subdivision of Pulaski County
Arkansas; and,
All of the NW4 of the SE4 of Section 21, Township 2 North
Range 13 West, lying South of State Highway 10 and West of
the East right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road, including
the Affloter - Phillips Subdivision; and,

All of the NE4 of the SE4 of Section 21, Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, lying South of State Highway 10 and West of
the East right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road; and,
The Ez of the SE4 of the SW4 of Section 21, Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, lying North of Pleasant Forest Drive; and,
The NW4 of the SW14 of Section 21, Township 2 North, Range
13 West; and,
Lot C of Walton Heights Addition, a subdivision of Pulaski
County, Arkansas; and,
All of the SW4 of the NE4 and all of the SW4 of the NW4 of
Section 21, Township 2 North, Range 13 West lying South of
State Highway 10 and East of Fairview Road; and,
Part of the SW4 SE-3-4 of Section 21, Township 2 North, Range
13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as: Begin at
the Southwest corner of the said SW4 SE4 of Section 21 and
run thence N 00 37' 30" W along the center line of a county
road (60 -foot right -of -way) 50.46 feet to a point; thence N
890 22' 30" E 30 feet to the point of beginning, being the
intersection of the East right -of -way line of said county
road with the West right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road;
thence N 00 37' 30" W along the East line of said county
road 933.47 feet to a point; thence S 450 37' 10" E 660.13
feet to a point on the West line of Rodney Parham Road;
thence S 440 22' 50" W along the West line of Rodney Parham
Road 660 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.001
acres, more or less; and,
All of the State Highway 10 right -of -way lying between the
East right -of -way line of Rodney Parham Road and the East
right -of -way of Fairview Road.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
