AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (a) OF
SECTION 12 -6 OF ARTICLE II OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO LICENSING OF
ELECTRICIANS, CONTRACTORS, ETC.; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section 12 -6 of Article II
of Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to Licensing
of Electricians, contractors, etc., is hereby amended to read
as follows:
(a) There is hereby established a board of five (5)
members to be known as the board of electrical examiners
and appeals. Such board shall be composed of personnel
having the following qualifications:
(1) One Master electrician, as licensed by this
chapter, who is not a principal in an electrical
firm
(2) One journeyman as licensed by this chapter
(3) One electrical engineer as licensed by state law
who is a consulting engineer
(4) The Fire Marshal of the City of Little Rock
(5) One member shall be an electrical contractor duly
licensed to do business in the City of Little Rock
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
