HomeMy WebLinkAbout13406ORDINANCE NO 13,406 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5 -10 AND 5 -13 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO AMBULANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. Section 5 -10 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to Operating Rules and Regulations of ambulances is hereby amended to add subparagraphs (8) and (9) to paragraph (a) of said section, which subparagraphs shall read as follows: (8) In the event that the licensee dispatches all available ambulances, the dispatcher shall notify the central dispatch center immediately following dispatch of the last available ambulance. (9) In the event of icy, hazardous driving conditions, each licensee shall insure that each vehicle dis- patched uses tire chains or snow tires. SECTION 2. Section 5 -13 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to Driver or attendant license; suspension and revocation, is hereby amended to add a subparagraph (2) to paragraph (a) of said section, which subparagraph shall read as follows: (2) The City Manager or his designated representative is authorized to place any ambulance service operator on probation for a period of time to be be determined at the discretion of said City Manager or his designated representative for any violation of operating rules and regulations or ordinance provisions.
