ORDINANCE NO. 13,948
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO MABELVALE-
ALEXANDER SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 142
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the party claiming to be the owner of all of the
real property located within the territory hereinafter described
has filed a petition praying that all real property embraced with-
in said territory be annexed to Mabelvale- Alexander Sewer Improve-
ment District No. 142 of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the purposes
hereinafter set out and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, has ascertained that said petition
was signed by the owner of all the real property within said
territory sought to be annexed, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That there is hereby annexed to Mabelvale - Alexander
Sewer Improvement District No. 142 of Little Rock, Arkansas, the
following property located in the County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas, to -wit:
Tract 1 of Mary L. Penn's Subdivision of the Southwest Quarter
(SA) of the Northwest Quarter (NW4), Section 2, Township 1
South, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas more particularly
described as:
Beginning at a point which is the Northeast corner of the SEQ
of the NE4 of Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence South 88° 52' 45" East a
distance of 330.75 feet to an iron pin; thence South 1° 1' 50"
West a distance of 1324.80 feet to an iron pin; thence West
a distance of 330.88 feet to an iron pin; thence North 40
minutes East 1338 feet to the point of beginning containing
10 acres, more or less;
this property being described on the last county assessment
record as:
Sub div SW NW & N & W of
Mo Pac R /R; SE NW Tract 1
Sec 2 Tp 1 S, R 13 W, 10 acres;
for the purposes of constructing a sanitary sewer line beyond the
boundaries of the said sewer improvement district and to the above
described territory hereby annexed, and to make the desired connec-
tion with the sanitary sewer collection system of the described
sewer district; said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and
of the materials that the Commissioners of the District shall
deem to be in the best interest of the District and of the property
hereby annexed, and the cost thereof to be assessed on the real
property above described according to the benefits received.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
