AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 -28(c) OF THE CODE
OR ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
DELETING A PORTION OF ASHER AVENUE AS A FIRE DISTRICT;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the portion of Asher Avenue described in subsection (c)
of Section 13 -28 of the Code of Ordinances no longer harbors the
features and conditions appropriate for a Fire District classification
and the continued inclusion of such area in the Fire District is
impeding the redevelopment of such area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 13 -28(c) of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(c) Reserved."
SECTION 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety, shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
