LITME ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That $6,415.00 is hereby appropriated from the 1977
Capital Improvement Fund for railroad crossing improvements.
SECTION 2. That $15,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund for legal fees.
SECTION 3. That $18,640.00 is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Little Rock Mack Sales
for the purchase of fire pumper trucks.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval,

DESCRIPTION:
2 (ea) Custom Cab forward fire apparatus
1250 GPM triple combination pumper.
DISCUSSION:
It is recommended that the award be made
to the second low, Little Rock Mack
Sales. Treadway Electric, the low bidder,
quoted on a two cycle engine as opposed to
the specified four cycle engine. Experien
has shown more "down- time" on two cycle
engines which is why a four cycle was
specified.
Funding will come from Operating
180 -4200 -7.06 ($51,240) and Revenue Sharing
499 - 8402 -7.06 ($110,000). An additional
$18,640 will have to be appropriated.
